The Tilta 19mm Long Rod Support is a rod support that fits directly onto an ARRI standard dovetail and supports long 19 mm studio rods where they start to sag under a matte box or motors. The pair of rods stays parallel and accessories slide along them without binding. Aluminium alloy, black.

The Tilta 19mm Long Rod Support is a part for long builds: the longer the rods and the heavier the matte box at the end, the more the rods bend away from the baseplate — the support catches them on the dovetail.

Supports 19 mm rods on the ARRI dovetail

The support sits directly on the ARRI standard dovetail that the camera baseplate rides on. Its two seats hold the 19 mm studio rods (104 mm spacing) at a second point in front of the baseplate, so long rods do not sag under a matte box, follow focus motors or a lens support and stay parallel. Accessories then slide along the rods easily and without binding. The support is made of aluminium alloy, in black like Tilta baseplates and dovetails.
