The Tilta MB-T17-FT 4×5.65″ Filter Tray is the slide-in frame that holds a rectangular filter in the Mirage Pro matte box. It takes glass 2 to 4 mm thick — that is 4×5.65″ filters from practically every brand — and up to three trays stack in the matte box. A tray is changed from the top without removing the hood, and it is held by its own locking screw. Sold separately as an addition and as a spare part.

The 4×5.65″ Filter Tray for the Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box holds a rectangular filter in the 4×5.65 inch industry standard. Three trays fit in the matte box one above the other, so neutral density, polarisation and diffusion can all be combined at once.

Glass 2 to 4 mm thick

The depth of the tray takes glass 2 to 4 mm (0.08 to 0.16 inch) thick, so 4×5.65″ filters from practically every maker go in. The tray slides in from the top without removing the hood and without touching the glass — swapping a filter is a matter of seconds, even mid-setup.

Its own locking screw

The trays are not held by one common lever. Each has its own locking screw, so a filter cannot work its way loose during a fast move or a drone flight. The tray sits firmly in the matte box and will not fall out while the rig is carried.
