Detailné informácie

Podrobný popis

The Tilta CT12 combines a 75 mm fluid head rated for 12 kg with two-stage carbon fiber legs in one set for film and documentary. The One Touch lock releases both stages of a leg with a single lever, so the height is set in seconds. Counterbalance has ten steps, drag eight steps separately for tilt and pan, and the bubble level is LED backlit. The camera stands from 840 mm to 1815 mm and the whole set weighs 7.75 kg. Space Gray finish.

The Tilta CT12 is the stronger member of the Cine Tripod series: a 75 mm fluid head rated for 12 kg and two-stage carbon fiber legs with a One Touch lock, where a single lever releases both stages of a leg at once. The head has ten counterbalance steps, eight drag steps on each axis and an illuminated bubble level, so it can be levelled after dark as well.

One Touch — one lever per whole leg

The legs have two extending stages and a single lever per leg that releases both at once. That removes the opening and closing of locks stage by stage, the most tiresome part of tripod work when you move between setups. The tubes are filament wound carbon fiber and carry 50 kg; the leg angle is held by a mid-level spreader with a buckle lock.

Sideload Manfrotto receiver

The camera slides into the head from the side — the Manfrotto-type plate drops into the receiver and locks without having to be lowered from above over the whole rig. The centre of gravity shifts front and back in the receiver itself, so the camera balances even without a dovetail plate. If you want one, the receiver swaps for Tilta’s extended dovetail plate or its ARRI adapter.

Ten counterbalance steps, eight drag steps

Counterbalance has ten steps and balances rigs from 1 to 12 kg, so it holds the frame even at a steep tilt. Drag is set separately for tilt and for pan, eight steps marked 0–7 on each axis. The head tilts from +90° to −60° and pans a full 360°; the panoramic base plate has its own lock, independent of the tilt lock.

Expansion threads with locating points

The side of the tripod carries 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with anti-rotation locating points. They hold an arm with a monitor, a light, a tablet or phone clamp, or serve as support for heavier gear. The feet carry all-terrain horseshoe spikes.

Aerospace alloy, in-house CNC machining

The head is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminium alloy in Tilta’s own factory, from the first part to final assembly. That is where the accuracy comes from, and why damping stays even across the whole tilt travel — on screen it reads as a calm move with no jolt at either end.

From −50 °C to +60 °C

The whole Cine Tripod series is built to work from −50 °C to +60 °C. The damping fluid in the head neither thickens in frost nor thins in the sun, and the drag stays where you set it — in the mountains, in the desert and on a freezing morning outside town.

From mirrorless to cine camera

The head carries 12 kg, which covers a cine rig with a PL lens, monitor, transmitter and battery. The camera stands from 840 mm up to 1815 mm; folded, the set measures 168 × 164.5 × 943 mm and weighs 7.75 kg, so it travels on a shoulder with the rest of the kit in a backpack.

Illuminated level and pan arm

The bubble level has its own LED backlight, so the horizon can be set at dusk and after dark. It needs one CR1632 3 V battery, which the manufacturer does not supply. The pan arm is silicone covered, extends from 40 to 58 cm and moves to the left or the right side of the head.

75 mm and 100 mm bowl

The legs take a head with a 75 mm bowl as well as a 100 mm one — the larger standard mounts through a removable adapter. The head therefore moves onto another tripod or slider, and conversely these legs accept the head you already own. The head alone measures 167.5 × 138.5 × 198 mm.
