The Tilta 8mm Fisheye Lens for iPhone (T-Mount) gives your phone a focal length its own camera does not have. The fisheye delivers a 220° field of view with a very short minimum focus distance. Built from aluminium alloy and optical glass, it weighs 120 g and mounts with a twist and a click onto the T-Mount lens adapter in a Khronos or Khronos Lite case. The adapter and the case are not included.

220° field of view and close focus

The fisheye delivers a 220° field of view with a very short minimum focus distance. The result is strong barrel distortion that turns an ordinary scene into something else — action shots, music videos, dramatic architecture, pet POV shots or tight interiors.

Which phone camera it goes on

The lens mounts in front of the iPhone main camera (1x) — that is what its optical design assumes and what the manufacturer quotes its results for. You do not switch to the 0.5x ultra-wide or to the phone’s own telephoto; the whole point is that the main camera stays in the frame and you never have to fall back on the phone’s weaker optics.

What else you need

The lens alone will not attach to the phone. You also need the T-Mount lens adapter and a Khronos or Khronos Lite case whose slot the adapter goes into. Tilta makes the T-Mount adapter for iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, 16 Pro/Pro Max and 17 Pro/Pro Max, so the lens moves with you to the next phone. It also works with third-party cases that carry a T-Series mount.

Light to carry

The lens weighs 120 g and ships with a front cap, a rear cover and a fabric pouch, so it travels in a jacket pocket or next to the phone in a bag.
