The Tilta TCB-7LE-DCM21 is a DC 5.5/2.1 mm (8 V) → 7-pin Lemo power cable for Nucleus-M motors. It plugs into an 8 V DC 5.5/2.1 mm output on the rig and into the motor's 7-pin power connector; further motors are then daisy-chained with Nucleus-M 7-pin → 7-pin cables. The DC plug is right-angled; colour black.

The Tilta TCB-7LE-DCM21 is the alternative to powering Nucleus-M motors from P-Tap: where the rig offers an 8 V DC output with a 5.5/2.1 mm barrel socket, this cable is all it takes and the motors run with no source of their own. One cable to the first motor, the rest linked with 7-pin cables.

DC 5.5/2.1 mm (8 V) → 7-pin Nucleus-M motor

The right-angled 5.5/2.1 mm DC plug goes into the 8 V DC output of a source on the rig — a battery plate or power module with this output. The other end is a 7-pin Lemo plug for the power connector of the Nucleus-M motor; it locks in place and will not pull out from a tug on the cable. The cable does not change the voltage; the 8 V from this output sits inside the 7.2–24 V range the Nucleus-M motors work with. If the rig only has P-Tap, the Nucleus-M P-Tap → 7-pin cable is used instead.

Daisy-chaining motors

Only the first motor is fed: from its second 7-pin connector a Nucleus-M 7-pin → 7-pin cable runs to the next motor, and that one onward the same way. Three motors thus hang on one source, and there is a single feed from the battery on the rig.

The right-angled DC plug keeps the cable along the source and does not stick out; the straight 7-pin connector sits in the motor with no bend in the cable right behind the connector.

The Tilta TCB cable range links camera, battery and accessories on the rig: power from a V-Mount or Gold Mount plate over P-Tap, 2-pin Lemo, 3-pin Fischer or a DC barrel connector, USB-C PD for monitors and handles, 7-pin control cables for the Nucleus system and HDMI or BNC for the picture. Lengths follow the rig — short on the cage, longer out to arms and batteries; this cable is one of them.
