The Tilta Accessory Mounting Expander for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is an aluminium cage that turns the pocket gimbal into a full rig. The camera drops in and is secured from below by a single 1/4"-20 screw, while the screen, buttons and lens stay clear. NATO rails run down the sides, 1/4"-20 threads with locating points sit on the faces and a slot for a wrist strap runs along the bottom. It weighs 105.5 g. The manufacturer lists the cage for the Osmo Pocket 4 as well.

The Tilta Accessory Mounting Expander for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 exists for one thing the pocket gimbal lacks: somewhere to hang anything. The camera stays fully operable, yet suddenly has NATO rails, 1/4"-20 threads and a slot for a wrist strap.

It covers nothing up

The camera slides into the cage and is held from below by a single 1/4"-20 screw. The screen, the buttons and the lens stay clear, so it handles exactly as it does without the cage.

NATO rails on both sides

Full NATO rails run down the sides. An articulating arm on them works as a second grip, and a monitor or microphone slides to exactly where it is out of the way.

1/4"-20 threads and a strap slot

The faces carry 1/4"-20 threads with locating points, and a long slot along the bottom takes a wrist strap. The rig can be hung up or clipped to a backpack.

Silicone inserts inside

The inside of the cage is lined with silicone: the camera does not rattle and the aluminium does not scuff it. From outside the same lining softens small knocks.

DJI’s own accessories still fit

The cage works with DJI’s original expansion handle and with the extended battery handle — there is no need to give them up.
