A flat two-channel Tilta charger for Sony L-Series / NP-F batteries and compatible cells — NP-F550, NP-F750, NP-F970, NP-FM50 and NP-FM550H. The LCD display shows channels CH1 and CH2 separately, and the smart cut-off ends charging as soon as a cell is full. It runs off USB-C (9 V/2 A, QC) and Micro-USB, weighs 62 grams and fits a pocket.

The Tilta Battery Charger for L-Series/NP-F is a flat two-channel charger for Sony L-Series / NP-F batteries and compatible cells. It measures 125 × 55 × 18.5 mm, weighs 62 grams and charges both batteries at once — over USB-C or Micro-USB.

Two slots for NP-F cells

The charger takes two L-Series / NP-F batteries and charges them at the same time. The slots work independently, so each can hold a different cell type.

CH1 and CH2 shown separately

The LCD display shows both channels separately, labelled CH1 and CH2. You can see which battery is done without pulling it out and testing it in the camera.

USB-C and Micro-USB

There are two inputs: USB-C with the QC protocol (9 V/2 A) and Micro-USB. Power it from a laptop, a power bank, a mains adapter or the car.

Weighs 62 g, fits a pocket

The whole charger measures 125 × 55 × 18.5 mm and weighs 62 g. It is flat enough for a trouser pocket or a side compartment of a camera bag, where a two-slot charger would not normally fit.

Smart cut-off protects the batteries

As soon as a cell is full, the charger stops charging on its own. That prevents overcharging, keeps heat down and extends battery life.

Which cells it takes

The charger is made for Sony L-Series / NP-F batteries and compatible third-party cells — the manufacturer names NP-F550, NP-F750, NP-F970, NP-FM50 and NP-FM550H among others. Capacity differs a great deal between types (NP-F550 around 3,500 mAh, NP-F970 around 10,500 mAh), and so does charging time. NP-F batteries mostly power LED lights, monitors and wireless video links rather than camera bodies themselves.
