The Tilta Boulder Camera Cart Indie Kit is the aluminum Boulder camera cart equipped for focus pullers and DITs out of the box: to the base cart (400 kg, 9" pneumatic tires, tool-free folding into a case) it adds a Steadicam dock, a VESA monitor mount for the crossbar, an expansion mounting bracket kit, the IGT outdoor module and a two-unit IGT plate. The IGT-standard side table extends and takes swappable tabletop inserts. Gray finish.

The Tilta Boulder Camera Cart Indie Kit is the base Boulder cart completed with the parts that turn it straight into a focus-pulling and DIT station: Steadicam dock, monitor mount for the crossbar, expansion brackets, IGT outdoor module and a two-unit IGT plate as a side table. The cart itself assembles without tools, carries 400 kg, rolls on 9" pneumatic tires and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot.

Mobile basecamp on set

On set the cart works as a mobile basecamp for the whole crew — the focus puller has the monitor, the DIT the laptop and the technician the tools in one place. Crossbar height adjusts to wherever you want the monitor, and because the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards, common monitor, wireless receiver and light mounts attach directly without extra adapters.

Live streaming ready

For live streaming or interview shoots use the large top tray, the middle tray for switching gear and the VESA monitor mount. Camera, receivers, mixer and light sit on one cart that moves to another spot in the studio in seconds — with the whole station and without unplugging a cable.

Expandable workspace

The top tray follows the IGT standard: with both optional IGT modules it expands to up to 1.7 m of workspace, enough for a focus monitor and a laptop side by side. A middle tray hangs underneath for extra storage, and the VESA monitor mount (75/100 mm) clamps to the 40mm speed rail with smooth adjustment and 90° rotation.

400 kg payload on 9" pneumatic tires

The cart carries 400 kg in total, 90 kg of it on the top tray — a complete camera package, batteries, a lens case and two monitors at once. The 9-inch pneumatic tires absorb paving, gravel and lawn, so the gear rolls smoothly beyond the flat studio floor. An air pump is included.

Tool-free assembly, folds into a case

Posts, crossbars, handles and wheels slot in without any tools: the cart assembles and breaks down in minutes. Folded, it takes a fifth of its size — the top and bottom trays lock together into a closed 922 × 612 × 180 mm case with a handle and its own wheels that fits in the trunk of most cars.

Desktop and studio use

In the office, studio or home workshop the cart becomes a mobile workbench. The optional pegboard with straps and hooks (16 and 32 mm) keeps tools, cables and small gear visible and within reach, the monitor hangs from the sliding mount above the tray, and when you need the space, the cart rolls aside with everything on it.

40mm speed rail and sliding monitor mount

The vertical posts are 40mm speed rails with height markings, so the crossbar sits at exactly the same height on both sides. The monitor mount slides left and right along the crossbar and rotates so the picture faces wherever you stand. Uniform standards across the cart — 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, 40 mm, NATO and Manfrotto — mean third-party accessories fit without adapters.

Built for the outdoors

Thanks to the modular IGT system the cart adapts to the outdoors — camping, shoots in the field or working next to a vehicle. Lightweight baby pin stands hold work lights, hooks on the speed rails carry LED lamps and small accessories, and the tray is where the coffee gets brewed or the melon sliced. An optional umbrella (coming soon from the manufacturer) shields the station from sun and rain.

Magnetic fold-down side

The side wall of the top tray folds down and is held by a magnet — the tray becomes a flat table and a monitor or keyboard reaches the edge.

Universal standards

1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, 40mm speed rail, NATO rail and Manfrotto — every accessory fits without an adapter.

Speed rail with height markings

The posts carry a scale, so the crossbar sets to the same height on both sides without measuring.

One-step-release brake

Swivel casters lock and release with a single step — the cart stays put on a slope and fully loaded.

What the kit adds over the base cart

The Steadicam dock on the 40mm speed rail holds a stabilizer arm or a tripod head bowl. The monitor mount (VESA 75/100 mm) slides along the crossbar and rotates. The expansion mounting bracket kit adds mounting points for further accessories. The IGT outdoor module and two-unit IGT plate form an IGT-standard side table that takes swappable inserts — up to 1.7 m of workspace with both modules.
