The Tilta Camera Cage Pro Kit for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K/12K is a complete handheld and accessory-mounting solution designed for professional cinema workflows. Featuring a modular full camera cage, Gold Mount battery plate, 15mm LWS baseplate, Xeno NATO top and side handles, and threaded 15mm rods, this kit enhances rigging flexibility, power distribution and handheld operation while maintaining a lightweight yet durable aluminum construction.

The Tilta ES-T21-B-AB Camera Cage Pro Kit is purpose-built to expand the functionality of the Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K and 12K cinema cameras. At its core is a modular full camera cage constructed from aluminum and stainless steel, allowing filmmakers to add or remove components such as side arm panels, top and bottom plates, and a dedicated SSD side plate. The cage provides extensive mounting options, including multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads, NATO rails, cold shoes, and an ARRI-style rosette, enabling seamless integration of professional accessories.

Modular Design

Custom designed for the PYXIS body. The cage includes five parts: side plate, top plate, left side arm, right side arm and bottom plate. It matches the native accessories, offering more rigging and expansion options. The top, bottom and side plates can be used independently.

Multi-Functional Side Plate

Supports external recording via an SSD mount and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for various accessories, including smartphone clamps for livestream setups.

Compatible With SSDs Of Various Sizes

Accommodates drives 52 mm to 60 mm wide and less than 12 mm thick.

Vertical Lens Alignment

In a vertical configuration, the bottom plate features specifically positioned threads to align the baseplate with the optical centre of the lens.

Clearance For Heat Dissipation

Both the bottom and top plates are designed to avoid the body heat dissipation vents, ensuring the cooling performance of the camera remains unaffected.

Versatile Compatibility

The top plate is compatible with the PYXIS native top handle. It also features a detachable 3/8" to 1/4" thread adapter, allowing users to choose a different top handle.

Power Module

The battery plate contains built-in electronic contacts, with additional output ports to support various accessories.

Easily Mount A Smartphone Or Power Bank

This MagSafe-compatible mount offers a convenient way to attach a smartphone or power bank to your camera rig.

The included Gold Mount battery plate locks directly into the camera’s BP-U battery slot and delivers reliable power pass-through from high-capacity Gold Mount batteries. It also supports multiple accessory outputs, including dual D-Tap ports, a 2-pin LEMO-style output, and USB-C, with hot-swap capability via DC input. For handheld and low-angle shooting, the kit includes Tilta Xeno top and side handles with NATO clamps, offering ergonomic silicone grips and additional mounting points. Completing the setup is a 15mm LWS baseplate with dovetail compatibility and two 8-inch threaded 15mm rods, making it easy to mount matte boxes, follow focus systems, and other rod-based accessories. This pro kit is an ideal all-in-one rigging solution for demanding production environments.
