The Tilta TA-T32 Basic Kit adds a TILTAING quick release top handle and an HDMI to micro HDMI adapter to the full camera cage for the Canon EOS R5 C. The cage follows the outline of the body and offers an ARRI rosette, cold shoe mounts, NATO rails and a row of 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins. The handle carries its own cold shoe mounts, 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads and a horizontal 15mm rod mount.

A cage tailored to the R5 C

The cage follows the outline of the Canon EOS R5 C including the viewfinder hump and the cooling vent. It bolts to the body with a 1/4”-20 screw and is held by a locating pin, so the body cannot twist inside it. Buttons, the mode dial and the top display stay exposed.

Custom design and precise CNC machining

The top plate carries two cold shoe mounts and a NATO rail; the left side adds another NATO rail and an ARRI rosette. Space is left clear around the camera buttons, so the camera can be operated with the cage fitted.

Easy battery swaps

The bottom plate leaves the battery compartment free — you swap the battery without taking the rig apart. The plate also holds a slot with the flathead magnetic screwdriver supplied by the manufacturer.

Silicone cushions protect the body

Built-in silicone cushions on the top and bottom hold the body in place and protect its finish from being scratched by the aluminium frame.

Mounting points on the sides

Both sides and the top carry NATO rails, 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins and M3 threads for small brackets. The ARRI rosette on the right side takes a side handle; the loops at the top and bottom are for a wrist strap and a shoulder strap.

Top and bottom view

The top plate has two cold shoe mounts and 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins. The bottom plate carries the screw and locating pin that hold the camera body, another 1/4”-20 thread and a flathead magnetic screwdriver seated in its slot.

TILTAING quick release top handle

The handle mounts on the top cold shoe and comes off without tools thanks to its quick release lever. It offers several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads, a cold shoe mount at the front and the back, and a horizontal 15mm rod mount for an EVF or an external monitor.

What you can attach to the cage

The NATO rails and the ARRI rosette are ready for the Tilta Type IV/VI side handles and for the compact NATO top handle. The base fits Tilta quick release plates and natively supports the Smart V Mount Battery Baseplate and the LWS Baseplate Type IV. The aluminium frame also has integrated slots for a shoulder strap.

HDMI cable clamp and EF adapter support

The clamp bolts to the side of the cage and secures the HDMI cable and an optional USB-C cable against being pulled loose — when recording to an external recorder a loose cable means a ruined take. The EF adapter support attaches to the front of the cage with M3 screws and braces an RF to EF mount adapter, so a follow focus system cannot shift the image.
