The Tilta Camera Cage Power Kit for the Canon EOS R6 V combines the full cage with HDMI cable clamp, the Mini PD V-Mount battery plate and an adjustable ARCA receiver. A V-Mount battery powers the camera over USB-C PD (60 W) and a monitor or light from the P-Tap and 2-pin Lemo outputs (20 V / 3 A) — without a baseplate or 15 mm rods. The receiver extends and tilts, so the battery position matches your rig.

The Tilta Camera Cage for Canon R6 V Power Kit solves what runs out first on the EOS R6 V — the battery. It adds the Mini PD battery plate for V-Mount batteries to the full cage, plus an adjustable ARCA receiver that holds the plate directly on the cage without a baseplate or rods. Camera, monitor and light then run from one large battery, and the internal LP-E6 stays as a backup.

Mounting points: threads, NATO rails and cold shoe

Around the cage sit 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins that stop accessories from twisting. There is a NATO rail on top and on the side for snapping on handles, and a cold shoe on the top plate for a microphone or light. Monitor, microphone, light, wireless transmitter and handles all attach to the body without a single extra adapter.

Bi-directional Arca-Swiss quick release plate

The bottom plate of the cage is an Arca-Swiss quick release plate with 1/4"-20 threads and locating pins, and it is bi-directional: it fits DJI gimbal receivers as well as common Arca-Swiss standard heads and baseplates. In this kit the ARCA receiver of the battery plate locks into it; take it off and the camera moves from tripod to gimbal in seconds without a screwdriver.

Mini PD V-Mount battery plate

The plate for V-Mount batteries gives the rig a full shooting day of runtime. It powers the camera from the USB-C PD output (60 W) through the included 35 cm right-angle cable, and other devices from P-Tap and 2-pin Lemo (20 V / 3 A) — monitor, light, wireless transmitter. Strap slots secure the battery against accidental release, and 1/4"-20 and M4 threads on top take further accessories.

Adjustable ARCA receiver without baseplate or rods

The receiver locks into the Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom of the cage, so the battery plate needs neither a baseplate nor 15 mm rods. The extension moves the battery closer to or further from the body and the swivel hinge tilts it — the rig balances to the lens without rearranging the rest of the accessories. The whole build stays compact and handles well in the hand and on a tripod.

Three points of contact, zero play

The cage attaches to the camera body at three points: a screw in the bottom thread, a screw on the right side of the body and a lock in the left strap lug. The body will not shift or rotate in the cage even with a monitor, microphone, handles and a V-Mount battery hanging off it. All three points are tightened with the included key — one end slotted, the other Allen.

Unobstructed access to controls and ports

The cage is machined precisely to the R6 V body: buttons, dials, articulating screen and battery door stay reachable, the port doors on the left open, and HDMI, USB-C, microphone and headphone cables plug in without obstruction. The included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable to an external recorder or monitor against being pulled out.

What is in the kit

The kit contains the full cage with HDMI cable clamp and Arca-Swiss quick release plate, the Mini PD V-Mount battery plate, the adjustable ARCA receiver and a right-angle USB-C power cable, 100 W (35 cm). A V-Mount battery is not included — pick one for the runtime you need. The right-hand section of the cage unscrews, turning the full cage into a lighter half cage for gimbal work.
