The Tilta Camera Cage Pro Kit for the Canon EOS R6 V is a complete rig for handheld and tripod work: full cage with HDMI cable clamp, Xeno top and side handles on NATO rails, a height-adjustable 15 mm LWS baseplate with Arca-Swiss mount and two 15 × 200 mm rods. The baseplate keeps the 85 mm LWS standard, so a matte box, follow focus and other accessories fit the rods.

The Tilta Camera Cage for Canon R6 V Pro Kit is the full setup from one box. The base is the full cage for the EOS R6 V, joined by the Xeno top handle for carrying and low-angle shots, the Xeno side handle for a firm hold and the 15 mm LWS baseplate with rods to hang a matte box, follow focus or battery plate from. All on NATO and Arca-Swiss interfaces, with no extra tools.

Mounting points: threads, NATO rails and cold shoe

Around the cage sit 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins that stop accessories from twisting. There is a NATO rail on top and on the side — in this kit the two Xeno handles sit on them — and a cold shoe on the top plate for a microphone or light. Monitor, microphone, light and wireless transmitter all attach to the body without a single extra adapter.

Xeno top handle

The Xeno top handle locks into the NATO rail on the top plate of the cage and has a raised profile that leaves room underneath for the hand and for a microphone in the cold shoe. It carries 1/4"-20 threads and a cold shoe of its own — the ideal spot for an external monitor or light. The camera carries comfortably, shoots from low angles and the accessories above it stay in view.

Xeno side handle

The Xeno side handle mounts on the NATO rail on the left side of the cage and adjusts 40 mm in height to fit the hand. Non-slip silicone grips even when wet, and the handle carries a cold shoe and a 1/4"-20 thread with locating pins for further accessories. Paired with the body grip it gives a firm two-handed hold for handheld and vertical shooting.

15 mm LWS baseplate with height adjustment

The baseplate locks into the Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom of the cage and carries two 15 mm rods. The height adjusts so that the sensor centre keeps the 85 mm LWS standard above the rods — then a matte box, follow focus, lens support and battery plate fit without shimming. Two 15 × 200 mm aluminum rods are part of the kit.

Three points of contact, zero play

The cage attaches to the camera body at three points: a screw in the bottom thread, a screw on the right side of the body and a lock in the left strap lug. The body will not shift or rotate in the cage even with handles, monitor, microphone and a matte box on the rods hanging off it. All three points are tightened with the included key — one end slotted, the other Allen.

Bi-directional Arca-Swiss quick release plate

The bottom plate of the cage is an Arca-Swiss quick release plate with 1/4"-20 threads and locating pins, and it is bi-directional: it fits DJI gimbal receivers as well as common Arca-Swiss standard heads and baseplates. In the kit the 15 mm LWS baseplate locks into it; take it off and the camera moves unchanged onto a DJI gimbal or an Arca-Swiss tripod head.

TA-T102 series: parts and kits for the Canon EOS R6 V

The Pro Kit builds on the TA-T102-FCC-B full cage, which we also sell on its own, as well as the half cage and the HDMI cable clamp. The Power Kit adds the Mini PD V-Mount battery plate with an adjustable ARCA receiver instead of handles and baseplate. All parts share threads, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine freely.
