The Basic Kit builds on the Tilta full camera cage for the Sony a7C II and a7C R and adds a NATO top handle with its rail, the universal 15mm LWS baseplate with adapter and two 15mm rods. A compact camera becomes a rig ready for a follow focus or a matte box, and strips back to the bare cage whenever you want. The HDMI cable clamp is included as well.

The kit is a building set: cage, handle and baseplate with rods combine according to the job — from a bare cage on a gimbal to a rig with a follow focus.

A top handle for low angles

The kit includes a NATO top handle with the rail that bolts it to the cage. It adds more 1/4″-20 threads and a cold shoe receiver for a monitor, and makes low shots and hand-carrying easier.

LWS baseplate and 15mm rods

The kit contains the universal 15mm LWS baseplate with its adapter and two 200 mm 15mm rods. The rods carry a follow focus or a matte box; the underside of the baseplate has 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads and a dovetail.

From tripod to gimbal in seconds

The bottom plate follows the Arca-Swiss standard, so the cage drops straight into a DJI RS 3 Pro gimbal or any Arca-style tripod head. Swapping takes seconds and needs no tools.

A custom fit that hides nothing

The frame follows the contour of the body, leaving every button, dial and the hot shoe free. There is still room on top for a wireless microphone such as the Sony ECM-W2BT.

The clamp keeps the HDMI cable in place

The removable HDMI cable clamp tightens with a thumb screw, so no tools are needed. The connector stays seated even while the rig is being moved and the signal is not interrupted.

Worth knowing

The cage uses DJI’s take on the ARCA standard. It fits most Arca-Swiss mounts, but the manufacturer does not guarantee compatibility with every one of them. With an unusual head, try the fit first.

The box contains only the items listed above. The Sony body, the lens and any other accessories shown in the photographs are not part of this product.
