The Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX5 Power Kit (black) solves power for the Sony FX5. It adds a Mini PD V-Mount battery plate rated at 100 W on an adjustable ARCA receiver, plus a 35 cm right-angle USB-C cable, to the TA-T108-FCC full aluminium cage. You power camera and accessories from a large V-Mount battery without needing a baseplate and 15 mm rods. P-Tap, USB-C PD and 2-pin LEMO outputs cover a monitor, a transmitter and a focus motor. There are no handles in this kit.

The Power Kit is the FX5 cage with power added. Instead of a conventional baseplate and rods, an adjustable ARCA receiver carries the battery plate, so the rig stays light and comes apart quickly.

Cage, battery plate and ARCA receiver

The box holds the Tilta full cage for the Sony FX5, an adjustable ARCA receiver, a 100 W Mini PD V-Mount battery plate and a 35 cm right-angle USB-C cable. Xeno handles, a baseplate and 15 mm rods are not part of this kit.

Full or half cage, swap as needed

Three-point locking keeps the full cage stable and prevents twisting. Remove the two bottom screws to switch to the lightweight half cage.

Standalone top plate, flexible expansion

The top NATO rail with built-in 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads adds more flexible accessory options.

Bi-directional ARCA, improved compatibility

The bi-directional slide-in design is compatible with mainstream ARCA quick-release systems.

Native camera controls, zero interference

Power from a V-Mount battery

The Mini PD V-Mount battery plate has a 60 W USB-C PD output, a P-Tap and a 2-pin LEMO; P-Tap and LEMO both deliver 20 V / 3 A. On top it carries 1/4"-20 and M4 threads for further accessories, plus strap slots for the security strap that keeps the battery from sliding off.

How the four Sony FX5 kits differ

All four kits are built around the same Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony FX5 (TA-T108-FCC) with its HDMI and USB-C cable clamps. The only difference is what comes in the box with it:

• Full Camera Cage — the cage on its own. No handles, no power, no rods.
• Base Kit — cage + Xeno top handle + Xeno side handle.
• Power Kit — cage + adjustable ARCA receiver + Mini PD V-Mount battery plate 100 W + 35 cm right-angle USB-C cable. No handles in this kit.
• Pro Kit — cage + both Xeno handles + height-adjustable ARCA baseplate + two 15 × 200 mm rods.

Switching between the full and half cage, the NATO rails, the bi-directional ARCA plate, the cold shoe and full access to the camera controls are identical across all four kits — only the bundled accessories change.

An ARCA receiver instead of a baseplate

The adjustable ARCA receiver slides into the bottom plate of the cage and carries the battery plate without the rig needing a conventional baseplate and 15 mm rods. Extending the receiver moves the battery closer to or further from the camera body, and a swivel hinge tilts it through up to 180°, which helps both when balancing a gimbal and when settling the weight on a shoulder.
