The Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX5 Pro Kit (black) is the most complete kit for the Sony FX5. It adds both the Xeno top and side handle to the TA-T108-FCC full aluminium cage, together with a height-adjustable ARCA baseplate and two 15 × 200 mm rods. The rods take a matte box, a follow focus or a lens support, and the adjustable baseplate lines the rod axis up with the sensor centre to the 85 mm LWS standard. There is no battery plate in this kit.

The Pro Kit is the Base Kit extended with a rod system. Besides both Xeno handles it holds a height-adjustable ARCA baseplate and a pair of 15 × 200 mm rods, so you can build a full cine rig on the FX5 right away.

Cage, handles and rod system

The box holds the Tilta full cage for the Sony FX5, a Xeno top handle and a Xeno side handle, a height-adjustable ARCA baseplate and two 15 × 200 mm aluminium rods. A battery plate and the ARCA receiver for it are not part of this kit.

Full or half cage, swap as needed

Three-point locking keeps the full cage stable and prevents twisting. Remove the two bottom screws to switch to the lightweight half cage.

Standalone top plate, flexible expansion

The top NATO rail with built-in 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads adds more flexible accessory options.

Bi-directional ARCA, improved compatibility

The bi-directional slide-in design is compatible with mainstream ARCA quick-release systems.

Native camera controls, zero interference

Precisely designed to maintain full access to camera functionality, so the cage never gets in the way of the camera’s native controls.

A dedicated magnetic latch

The magnetic latch adds extra security to the battery compartment.

Designed for seamless auto focus integration

Engineered to work with the Tilta Auto Focus Adapter, the top plate provides a secure fit without obstructing installation or operation.

15 mm rods and adjustable height

The baseplate slides into the bottom plate of the cage like an ordinary ARCA plate and carries two 15 × 200 mm rods. Its height can be set, so you can line the rod axis up with the sensor centre to the 85 mm LWS standard — a matte box, a follow focus and a lens support then all fit without shimming.

How the four Sony FX5 kits differ

All four kits are built around the same Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony FX5 (TA-T108-FCC) with its HDMI and USB-C cable clamps. The only difference is what comes in the box with it:

• Full Camera Cage — the cage on its own. No handles, no power, no rods.
• Base Kit — cage + Xeno top handle + Xeno side handle.
• Power Kit — cage + adjustable ARCA receiver + Mini PD V-Mount battery plate 100 W + 35 cm right-angle USB-C cable. No handles in this kit.
• Pro Kit — cage + both Xeno handles + height-adjustable ARCA baseplate + two 15 × 200 mm rods.

Switching between the full and half cage, the NATO rails, the bi-directional ARCA plate, the cold shoe and full access to the camera controls are identical across all four kits — only the bundled accessories change.
