Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX6 Advanced Kit - V Mount Tilta
Kód: AES-T20-B-VXPodrobný popis
The Tilta cage for the Sony FX6 with a V-Mount battery plate and a wireless video transmitter bracket. It has two 14.8 V P-Tap outputs, one 2-pin 14.8 V Lemo and one 5 V USB, so a single large battery also runs a monitor, a transmitter and a wireless mic. A monitor, a wireless mic, a light or a video transmitter goes wherever it suits, and the pin stops it from twisting.
The Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX6 Advanced Kit is the cage for the Sony FX6 with power included: alongside the quick release baseplate, the top plate and the side arm come the V-Mount battery plate and the wireless video transmitter bracket. Camera and accessories then run off one large battery, and the cage adds 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, ARRI rosettes and 15mm LWS rod holders.
A top plate that leaves the original handle in place
The multi-functional top plate ES-T20-MTP wraps around the FX6 body so that Sony’s original top handle stays where it is — you do not have to remove it. At the back it has a lock the Tilta battery plate clicks into, and on top two optional 15mm LWS rod holders, so accessories can run above the lens.
Fits the original handle and the monitor mount
The reserved space on the top plate is designed around the original FX6 handle, and the built-in monitor mount around Sony’s original LCD bracket. The cage therefore does not force you to replace what came in the box with the camera — it only adds threads, rods and protection.
1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads all over the cage
The top plate, the side arm and the baseplate are covered with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads and holes for locating pins. A monitor, a wireless mic, a light or a video transmitter goes wherever it suits, and the pin stops it from twisting.
Baseplate with ARRI rosettes and 15mm rods
The quick release baseplate ES-T20-QRBP carries a pair of ARRI rosettes for extension arms and handgrips, plus 15mm LWS rod holders front and back. A lens adapter support is built into the front, so the cage carries heavy glass instead of leaving it hanging off the mount.
From tripod to gimbal without a screwdriver
The baseplate sits directly on Tilta standard dovetail plates and, via the multi-functional baseplate, on the ARRI standard as well. The camera moves from tripod to gimbal in one motion, with no hunt for a screwdriver and no dismantling of the rig.
The side arm protects the flank and carries accessories
The side arm ES-T20-SA covers the side of the camera and adds further 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads with holes for locating pins. This is where a wireless video transmitter, an on-board monitor or a microphone belongs, without crowding the top plate.
Index stickers for multi-camera work
The side arm has reserved space for three reusable index stickers — A, B and C. On a multi-camera shoot you recognise the camera at a glance, on set and later in the edit, where the marking is visible in reverse shots.
Mount for the original LCD monitor
The monitor mount built into the top plate is prepared for Sony’s original LCD monitor bracket. The display therefore stays where you are used to it and does not take up a mounting point you would need for something else.
Bracket for the wireless video transmitter
The bracket ES-T20-WVM adds a 1/4″-20 thread turned through 90°, so the wireless video transmitter stands upright alongside the cage. The cable then takes the shortest route and the transmitter does not stick out where it could snag.
Optional top handle for balancing the rig
The optional Tilta top handle mounts directly onto the camera body and slides forwards and back, so you can balance the rig on its centre of gravity. It carries further threads for a monitor or a microphone.
V-Mount battery plate
The battery plate slides into the FX6 battery chamber and locks in; its connection to the multi-functional top plate secures it further. It has two 14.8 V P-Tap outputs, one 2-pin 14.8 V Lemo and one 5 V USB, so a single large battery also runs a monitor, a transmitter and a wireless mic.
It powers the camera only through the FX6 DC input — without a connection to the DC port the plate will not start the camera.
What to watch out for
The rosette on the baseplate may need to come off to give the original Sony FX6 side handle enough clearance. Rotate the handle carefully so you do not scratch it against the cage — and remove the rosette if it touches.
