The Tilta TA-T68-C-B advanced kit is the top specification for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II: the TA-T68-FCC2-B cage with cooling, the Tilta Xeno top handle, a side PD handle with its own 50 Wh battery and a Run/Stop button, a height-adjustable Arca baseplate, two 15 × 200 mm rods and a NATO rail adapter. Compared with the TA-T68-A-B base kit it adds power and rod support.

On top of the cage with cooling comes everything handheld work needs: a second handle with its own battery, the record button within reach and a baseplate with rods that a matte box or follow focus can build on.

What is in the kit

The advanced kit is a complete handheld build. On top of the cage and the Tilta Xeno top handle (TA-XTH4-B) it adds the Type VIII side PD handle (TA-LSP8-B) with its own 50 Wh battery (14.4 V / 3500 mAh), 50 W PD output, a Run/Stop button and a release lever for quick angle changes, the height-adjustable Arca 15 mm LWS baseplate (TA-HABP-B) with an 18–38 mm range, two 15 × 200 mm rods and a 1/4"-20 screw to NATO rail adapter.

Cooling that extends your take

The fan is built into the cage and runs at two speeds you switch between to suit the shoot. Tilta’s own lab measured 4K120p 450 Mbps recording extending from roughly 29 to 35 minutes at 24.5 °C indoors and from roughly 16 to 25 minutes at 32 °C. For 8K30P and 4K60P the maker quotes over 120 minutes of recording and cooling on a par with Canon’s original cooling grip.

Powered over a single USB-C cable

The cage has two USB-C ports. A 30 W Power Delivery source plugs into the PD-IN input and drives the fan; the PD-OUT output passes power on to the camera, so one power bank or one battery covers both. In this kit you do not have to arrange a source — the side PD handle with its own 50 Wh battery does the job.

Mounting points all the way round

On top there is a cold shoe receiver and a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 adapter, along the sides 1/4"-20 threads with locating points that stop accessories from twisting, and at the front two M3 threads for lens adapter support. Two holders take a wrist strap. The base has a cut-out marked BATT.OPEN, so the battery can be swapped with the cage on.

Arca-Swiss underneath, screwdriver on board

The bottom plate is an Arca-Swiss profile in its own right — the cage drops into most tripod heads and gimbals without an extra plate. Next to it sit the fan switch, the PD-IN input and a 3/8"-16 thread. A multi-functional magnetic screwdriver rides in a magnetic holder; it mounts and removes the cage and has its own place, so it will not vanish in the bag.

Compatibility

The frame is made specifically for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II. It does not fit other bodies — not even the first-generation Canon EOS R5.
