Carbon fibre top flag for the Tilta MB-T15 Mini Matte Box. It is the same flag that comes with the basic matte box kit and is sold as a replacement for a lost or damaged one. It slides onto the top of the matte box, is set to the desired angle and locked with the tightening toggle; it tilts through 180°: folded forward it shades backlight and cuts flare, folded back it stays out of the way in transport.

The flag is carbon fibre, so it adds virtually no weight to the front of the rig and does not upset the balance on a gimbal. A single thumbscrew on the top edge of the matte box holds it — loosen it and the flag tilts, tighten it and the flag stays at the chosen angle.

It is sold separately as a spare part; the MB-T15 matte box has one in the basic kit.
