The Tilta Cold Shoe Expanded Bracket is an aluminium rail that turns a single cold shoe on a camera or cage into three mounting places at once. It carries two cold shoe receivers at the ends, a NATO rail in the middle and 1/4"-20 threads with locating points, so a microphone, a light and a phone holder can all sit on it together. It weighs 49.5 g and supports 2 kg.

The Tilta Cold Shoe Expanded Bracket answers the moment when only one cold shoe is left on the camera and the accessories keep coming. It slides in like a microphone and immediately offers two receivers at the ends, a NATO rail in the middle and several 1/4"-20 threads along its length.

Two cold shoe receivers at the ends

Both receivers are one-way: an accessory slides in from one side only and will not work its way out. A microphone sits at one end and an on-board light at the other, with neither one blocking the lens.

NATO rail and 1/4"-20 threads

A full NATO rail runs down the middle, with 1/4"-20 threads and locating points around it. An articulating arm, a sliding cold shoe holder or a phone mount will not twist even while walking.

Up onto the cage, down onto the tripod

Underneath sits a cold shoe foot with a 1/4"-20 thread. The rail slides into the shoe on a camera, a cage or a handle — and screws just as readily onto a tripod head or a phone mount.

The body is aluminium alloy with stainless steel parts; the whole rail measures 136.1 × 20.7 × 19.3 mm and weighs 49.5 g. The 2 kg rating covers the usual trio of microphone, light and monitor.
