The Tilta Desktop Mounting Adapter TC-DMA-B clamps to the edge of a desk and raises a 40mm post above it — the same as on the Boulder carts. The pegboard, monitor mounting bracket, mounting bar and other Boulder family accessories then mount on it, turning a desk into a DIT station or edit bay with the same kit as on the cart. Tool-free clamping; one adapter per package.

The Tilta Desktop Mounting Adapter brings the Boulder Camera Cart accessories to any desk or flat surface. There is no need to haul the cart into the office — a post of the same diameter rises from the desk clamp and the parts the cart normally carries mount on it.

A 40mm post on the edge of the desk

The adapter clamps to the edge of the desktop with a two-screw clamp tightened by hand — no tools and no drilling into the desk. Above the desktop stands a vertical post 40 mm in diameter, a speed rail of the same size as the posts of the Boulder cart. The clamps of the Boulder accessories go onto it just as on the cart, and moving between cart and desk is a matter of a minute.

One adapter, the whole Boulder family

The post takes the metal pegboard, the monitor mounting bracket, the mounting bar and other Boulder add-ons made for a 40 mm post — the monitor hangs over the desk, tools on the pegboard beside it and the bar carries lights or receivers. The package contains one adapter with a 5mm Allen key; parts that rest on two posts, like the mounting bar in the picture, need two adapters.

The Tilta Boulder cart

The Boulder Camera Cart is an aluminum camera cart with a 400 kg payload that assembles without tools and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot. The posts are 40mm speed rails, the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards and the trays carry 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads — that is where every accessory of the Boulder family mounts. This adapter brings the same 40mm post from the cart to the edge of a desk.
