The Tilta TA-T32-LAS-B is a lens adapter support for the Tilta Full Camera Cage on the Canon EOS R5 C. It fixes with two M3 screws to the front of the cage and supports the Canon RF–EF adapter from below, so the adapter with an EF lens does not hang on the lens mount alone. The connection is stiffer and the image does not shift when working with a follow focus. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, black.

The Tilta TA-T32-LAS-B is a part for the Tilta cage on the Canon EOS R5 C: it gives the RF–EF adapter a second point of support, so a heavier EF lens and the pull of a follow focus are carried by the cage frame too, not just by the camera mount.

A second point of support for the RF–EF adapter

The Canon RF–EF adapter with an EF lens holds on the R5 C body by the lens mount alone. The support fixes with two M3 screws to the front of the Tilta cage and its shaped rest props up the adapter from below — this creates an additional point of contact between the cage and the adapter, and the lens assembly becomes stiffer. The lens then no longer sags under its own weight or when the rig is carried by the handle.

A steady image with a follow focus

When focusing with a follow focus, the side load of the gear drive acts on the lens. Without a support, the lens and adapter deflect slightly and the image shifts; with the support, the cage takes the load and the image stays put. The support is aluminium alloy with stainless steel screws; the included 2.5 mm hex key tightens it.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
