The Tilta Expansion Kit for the DJI Focus Pro is a set of three parts that attach the DJI Focus Pro focus system to a camera by means other than rods. It contains a rotating mount for the LiDAR rangefinder, a top handle adapter for the Focus Pro hand grip and an 18 mm NATO rail. The Focus Pro grip becomes the camera's top handle, and the LiDAR stays vertical even when the handle is tilted.

The Expansion Kit for the DJI Focus Pro widens the mounting options for the DJI Focus Pro focus system and the Focus Pro LiDAR rangefinder. At its core is a rotating mount that lets the Focus Pro serve as the camera's top handle; with it come a top handle adapter for the grip and an 18 mm NATO rail for attaching to other cages.

The Focus Pro becomes a top handle

The top handle adapter lays the DJI Focus Pro grip flat on top of the camera and clamps it through a NATO rail. The focus grip thereby becomes a full top handle you can carry and steer the camera by — and because the handle sits low, low-angle shots stay comfortable.

Free choice of position

The rotating mount suits different lenses and rigs and is compatible with DJI Focus Pro accessories. Its built-in cold shoe also carries a microphone, a wireless unit or other small accessories, so the mount does more than hold the LiDAR.

A damped joint for fine trimming

The joint of the mount is damped, not free. A set position therefore holds, yet can be trimmed at any moment — nothing has to be loosened and retightened. The setting will not drift while walking or while the rig is carried.

The LiDAR stays vertical

The mount is designed so that the LiDAR rangefinder stays vertical at 90° even when the grip is tilted. The LiDAR therefore measures distance in the correct plane whichever way you hold the camera.
