The Tilta Extended Quick Release Baseplate is an extended baseplate for the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals. It mounts onto the gimbal's existing baseplate and gives a larger, heavier camera a wider base with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads; rubber cushions and two screws hold the camera without twisting. Requires the Tilta Manfrotto Quick Release Extender Plate. Black.

The Tilta Extended Quick Release Baseplate widens the base of a DJI RS gimbal for a bigger build: more room for balancing and more threads for accessories, without touching the gimbal.

Wider base for a heavier camera

The plate screws onto the gimbal's existing baseplate and creates a wider, longer support for a bigger camera body or a longer lens. The camera therefore balances more comfortably on a DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro or RS 5 and does not rock when tilting. The plate is made of lightweight aluminium alloy, so it takes no more of the gimbal's payload than it must.

Rubber cushions, two screws, universal threads

Rubber cushions on the top surface stop the camera from twisting, and two slotted 1/4"-20 screws together with a 3/8" screw hold it at two points. The 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads accept most camera systems and cages. The plate is designed for the Tilta Manfrotto Quick Release Extender Plate, which replaces the gimbal's original Manfrotto plate — it cannot be used without it.
