The Tilta Full Camera Cage for Canon R6 Mark II is a full-perimeter cage machined to the Canon R6 Mark II body. The aluminium build weighs 170 grams and adds an ARRI rosette, two NATO rails, two cold shoes and a row of 1/4″-20 threads with locating points. The Arca-Swiss bottom plate drops straight onto Ronin series gimbals, and a micro HDMI and USB-C cable clamp is in the box.

The Tilta full cage wraps the Canon R6 Mark II all the way round, so the corners are protected while the ports, the battery and the tilting screen stay reachable. A single 1/4″-20 screw with a locating pin holds the cage against twisting, and a silicone cushion between cage and camera absorbs shock. The tripod thread stays available, so any quick release plate still fits.

Ready for the modular baseplate

The bottom plate of the cage has an Arca-Swiss profile, so it drops onto Ronin series gimbals and onto the Tilta Universal 15mm LWS baseplate with its Manfrotto mount and 10″ dovetail. The baseplate is sold separately.

Cable clamp for USB-C and HDMI

The cable clamp screws onto the side of the cage and holds a USB-C and a micro HDMI cable at once. The strain goes into the cage instead of the connectors, so a tugged cable will not end the take.

The screwdriver lives on the cage

A magnet in the bottom of the cage holds the flat-head screwdriver, so it is always there instead of at the bottom of a bag. It also tightens the 1/4″-20 screw that holds the body.

The top and side NATO rails are interchangeable, so the Tilta handle moves from the top to the flank — and the R6 Mark II then shoots vertically without any extra adapter. The ARRI rosette on the right side takes a side handle with adjustable angle.

The cage is part of the Tilta modular system: the bottom plate carries an Arca-Swiss profile for Ronin series gimbals, and it attaches to the Tilta Universal 15mm LWS baseplate whenever you need 15mm rods for a follow focus or a matte box. A flat-head screwdriver sits magnetically in the bottom of the cage to tighten the mounting screw.
