The Full Camera Cage for the Sony a1 II and a9 III gives extra protection to the camera body and expands your mounting options via Cold Shoe, M3, and 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads with Locating Points. Remove a few screws to convert it into a Half Cage.
Key features
ARCA bottom plate with cable passthrough (optional)
Routes tethering cables from 3 to 6.5 mm in diameter for faster, more comfortable computer-tethered shooting (the passthrough plate is sold separately).
Modular construction
Remove a few screws to turn the Full Cage into a Half Cage. The included HDMI clamps hold the cable firmly in place regardless of the camera body used.
Flexible top handle mounting
The cage is compatible with top handles using either a 3/8″-16 or 1/4″-20 thread, so you can pick the handle that suits your rig.
Wide adjustment range
The distance from the rod centre to the ARCA receiver runs from 18 to 38 mm — the adjustable height keeps the standard LWS 85 mm spacing between the rods and the sensor centre and is compatible with standard DJI ARCA plates.
