The Tilta full camera cage for the Sony a6700 protects the body and turns it into the base of a video rig. It carries a NATO rail, a cold shoe receiver and a row of 1/4″-20 threads with locating points for a monitor, a microphone or a light. The removable Arca-Swiss plate can also be bolted to the side for vertical shooting, and the back has dedicated points for the cooling module.

The cage is made for the Sony a6700 body and carries silicone padding where it meets the camera, so the finish does not rub.

Two screws and the cage sits tight

The cage attaches to the camera with two screws at two points of contact. The body cannot rotate inside it, even with a longer lens, so the rig stays aligned.

Room for the microphone stays free

The cage is cut so the hot shoe remains clear. A Sony ECM-W2BT wireless microphone or a small monitor goes on without removing anything.

Ready for the cooling module

Dedicated mounting points on the back of the cage take the Tilta cooling module for the Sony a6700, which extends continuous recording time in the heat. Sold separately.

It grows with you

The cage carries a NATO rail, a cold shoe receiver and a row of 1/4″-20 threads, so a NATO top handle, a monitor arm, a light or a shoulder rig can all be added. Accessories are sold separately.

The a6700 cage comes in two finishes. They are otherwise identical — only the surface differs.

Worth knowing

The cage uses DJI’s take on the ARCA standard. It fits most Arca-Swiss mounts, but the manufacturer does not guarantee compatibility with every one of them. With an unusual head, try the fit first.

The box contains only the items listed above. The Sony body, the lens and any other accessories shown in the photographs are not part of this product.
