The Full Camera Cage for Sony ZV-E1 in silver is a full cage made of aluminium alloy and stainless steel. It protects the camera body and adds a cold shoe, a NATO rail, M3 threads and 1/4″-20 threads with locating pins. The removable Arca-Swiss plate mounts on the bottom and on the side, so switching between horizontal and vertical shooting takes seconds. Ports, buttons and the battery stay accessible with the cage on.

Protection against rotation

The camera body and the accessories are secured through dedicated mounting points. More contact surface between body and cage keeps the rig from twisting — which matters most with a wireless follow focus motor.

Purpose-built microphone mounting

The cage is designed around the Sony ECM-W2BT wireless microphone, so the audio part of the rig stays out of the way.

The cage acts as an extra layer of protection for the camera body and carries the accessories at the same time: cold shoe, NATO rail, M3 threads for lens support and 1/4″-20 threads with locating pins.

The detachable Arca-Swiss quick release plate mounts on the bottom and on the side of the cage, so you move between horizontal and vertical shooting without tools.

The cage also accommodates an external cooling system, which extends continuous recording time; the cooling unit is not part of the package.
