The Tilta Handgrip Extender ES-T20-HE moves the Sony FX6's original handgrip further from the camera body — onto a shoulder rig, a rosette arm or a gimbal — and keeps all its controls through a coiled cable. The adapter on the camera body has an ARRI standard rosette, and the cable stretches from 45 to 100 cm. Aluminium alloy, stainless steel and TPU, black.

The Tilta Handgrip Extender for Sony FX6 is designed specifically for the FX6 body. It solves the problem of Sony's original handgrip sitting too close to the camera: on a shoulder rig or gimbal you need it elsewhere, but do not want to give up the record, zoom and assignable buttons it carries.

Grip further from the body, controls stay

The cable end of the extender connects to the FX6 body where the grip originally sat; the other end carries the mount for the original grip and a rosette. The connection is electrical, so record, zoom and assignable buttons work just as they do on the body. The coiled cable measures 45 cm retracted and stretches to 100 cm, so it does not restrict the build even on a longer shoulder rig.

ARRI standard rosette for rig and gimbal

The adapter on the camera body has a built-in ARRI standard rosette, so the grip and other rosette accessories connect to shoulder rigs, extension arms and handles — and conversely the FX6 grip hangs on the rig's arm wherever it sits well in the hand. On a gimbal the grip stays within reach even when the camera is balanced on the plate far from you.

The Tilta cage for the Sony FX6

The Tilta cage for the Sony FX6 (ES-T20) wraps the camera with all ports protected and adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points with ARRI locating pins, NATO rails and 15 mm rod holders. The ES-T20 accessories build on it — top plate, handles, battery plates, side plate or rod holders mount to the cage and to the camera body and combine freely; this one is among them.
