The Tilta TA-T01-HDA-90 is a 90-degree HDMI adapter for Tilta TA-T01 series cages for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K. It plugs into the HDMI output of the camera, turns the cable 90° along the side of the cage and screws to the cage with a finger-tightening screw, so the connector does not stick out of the body and the cable cannot be torn out. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, black with gold-plated contacts.

The Tilta TA-T01-HDA-90 is a 90-degree HDMI adapter designed for the Tilta cage for the BMPCC 4K/6K — the cable to the monitor hugs the cage and is secured with a screw.

Cable along the cage, not into space

A straight HDMI connector sticks out of the side of the BMPCC 4K/6K, and every knock strains the socket of the camera. The adapter plugs into the HDMI output and turns the cable 90° so that it tightly hugs the side of the Tilta cage. The rig is narrower, the cable to the monitor or recorder stays clear of your hand and the gimbal, and the camera socket does not carry its pull.

Secured with a finger-tightening screw

The adapter has a lug on its body for the finger-tightening screw, which pulls it against a Tilta TA-T01 series cage by hand, with no tools. The connector thus sits firmly in the camera socket and does not slide out from a jolt or a tug on the cable. The output side has a standard HDMI Type A socket for an ordinary HDMI cable.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
