The Tilta TA-T15-CC1-B is an HDMI cable clamp for the Tilta Full Camera Cage on the Panasonic GH7 and GH6. It screws directly to the cage and holds the HDMI male-to-female cable at the camera body, so the connector neither gets yanked out nor works loose while shooting, and the port in the body does not wear out over time. It is most useful when recording to an external recorder. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, black.

The Tilta TA-T15-CC1-B is a part for the Tilta cage on the Panasonic GH7/GH6: it transfers the pull on the HDMI cable to the cage so that the port in the camera body stays unstressed.

The cage holds the HDMI cable, not the port

The HDMI port in the camera body is small and easily works loose or gets damaged when shooting handheld. The clamp fixes with the included 2.5 mm hex key directly to the Tilta Full Camera Cage for the Panasonic GH7/GH6, the cable goes between its jaws and the screw clamps it — a tug on the cable is caught by the cage and the connector stays put. The clamp is designed for the Tilta HDMI male-to-female cable (TCB-HDM-HDF-17), whose socket then leads out of the cage.

For recording to an external recorder

When recording to an external recorder or working with a monitor, a single yanked cable means an interrupted take. The clamp is light and compact, adds no bulk to the cage, and the cable comes out easily when the camera has to leave the cage. It is made of aluminium alloy with stainless steel screws, in the black of the cage.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
