The Illusion Filters are the new, in house manufactured set of filters specifically designed for the Circular 95mm Standard of the Mirage Matte Box.

Professional Presentation
The FSND (Full Spectrum Neutral Density) filter is a neutral density filter that consistently reduces the intensity of light without significantly affecting the colour.
Exposure Control
The FSND filter reduces light, which is extremely beneficial for shooting in bright conditions, especially when a larger aperture or slower shutter speed is required. By using FSND filters, photographers gain enhanced control over exposure to achieve the desired effects, such as blurring motion, capturing flowing water or creating long exposure effects.
Balance Light
In certain scenarios, such as shooting High Dynamic Range (HDR) or capturing scenes with a bright sky and darker landscapes, brightness can vary significantly. Utilising FSND filters aids in balancing these brightness levels, ensuring a more uniformly exposed shot and preventing overexposure or underexposure.
Accurate Colour Rendition
While producing accurate colours, FSND filters ensure light reduction. Testing indicates that they uniformly reduce the levels across the light spectrum, meaning the overall spectral curve remains consistent. Light intensity for the various colours is proportionally diminished and does not result in a colour cast.
This filter is available in various levels of Neutral Density, providing users greater control over their exposure.
