The Tilta Khronos Cooling System V2 takes the heat off an iPhone — the heat that ends long takes with a warning and throttled performance. The 22 W variable-speed active cooler spins up to 6,700 rpm and brings its cold plate down to 4 °C (39 °F). It holds on magnetically via MagSafe with an N52 core, so it fits a bare iPhone without the Khronos case as well. It has no battery of its own: power comes from USB-C or from the Khronos case contacts, and it can charge the phone at 5 or 10 W at the same time. Space Gray finish.

A long 4K take on an iPhone always ends the same way: a temperature warning, a dimmed display and finally a stopped recording. The Khronos Cooling System V2 gets ahead of that actively — under the metal cold plate sits a variable-frequency fan that carries the heat away continuously, not once it is too late.

The cooler draws 22 W and spins up to 6,700 rpm; the manufacturer states its cold plate reaches 4 °C (39 °F). It holds on the phone magnetically via MagSafe with an N52 magnetic core, so it fits a bare iPhone as well as the Khronos case. The aluminium body with rubber contact points adds no noticeable weight to the rig.

There is no battery inside. Power has to come from outside — either by cable into the USB-C port, or from the electronic contacts of the Khronos case, which can in turn be fed from the Focus PD Handle. The connected supply also charges the phone wirelessly through the cooler, at 5 or 10 W depending on the mode.
