The Tilta Manfrotto Quick Release Extender Plate is an extended Manfrotto-style quick release plate for the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals. It replaces the gimbal's original Manfrotto plate, lets the camera move further forward or back, and a perpendicular slot mounts it upright for vertical framing. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, black.

The Tilta Manfrotto Quick Release Extender Plate is the longer replacement for the plate that comes in the DJI RS gimbal's box: more travel when balancing, plus the camera mounted vertically.

Longer plate, easier balancing

The plate is longer than a normal Manfrotto quick release plate, so the camera moves further forward or back on the gimbal and balances even with a longer lens or a heavier body. The lengthwise slot carries the 1/4" screw for the camera, and the 1/4" and 3/8" threads give freedom when mounting cages and camera systems. The plate replaces the original Manfrotto plate of the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals.

Perpendicular slot for vertical framing

A second, perpendicular slot lets the camera be mounted on the gimbal upright — for vertical video without any further adapter. The plate is made of lightweight aluminium alloy with stainless steel screws: two slotted 1/4" screws and one 3/8" screw are included. With the Tilta Extended Quick Release Baseplate it forms the pair on which larger builds are balanced too.
