The Tilta TA-QRBP3-G is a Manfrotto Quick Release Plate Type II for the Tiltaing cages for Sigma fp and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K. It screws to the bottom of the cage with two screws, and the camera then sits in Manfrotto 577, 500 and 701 receivers — drop in, click, lift off. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, in Tilta Gray.

The Tilta TA-QRBP3-G is the Type II plate: the Manfrotto profile for two Tiltaing cages the original plate does not fit — Sigma fp and BMPCC 4K/6K.

Manfrotto profile under the cage

The plate has the profile of the Manfrotto quick release system, so it clicks into a Manfrotto 577 receiver, 500-series heads and the 701. The camera with its cage drops into the head and clicks in, and comes off just as quickly — moving between tripod, arm and handheld takes no screwing.

Two screws into the bottom of the Sigma fp or BMPCC cage

The Type II is shaped for the bottom of the Tiltaing cages for Sigma fp and BMPCC 4K/6K: it holds with two screws, which are included. The Tiltaing cages for mirrorless cameras take the original four-screw Manfrotto quick release plate. The body is aluminium alloy and stainless steel in the Tilta Gray finish that matches the grey Tiltaing cages.

Tiltaing handles and plates

The Tiltaing range builds the rig around the cage from parts that fit together: side handles with a REC button powered by a Sony F570/F970 battery or USB-C PD, wooden and quick-release top handles, handle adapters to an ARRI rosette, 15 mm LWS baseplates with a Manfrotto or ARCA plate and battery plates with P-Tap and USB-C outputs. They share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with ARRI locating pins, NATO rails and ARRI rosettes. This part is one of them.
