The Tilta Monitor Mount TC-MM-B slides a monitor onto the mounting bar of the Boulder Camera Cart and secures it with a V-lock style quick release plate. The plate has VESA 100 × 100 and 75 × 75 mm patterns and takes displays up to 25 kg, so a common production or computer monitor goes on the cart. Adjustable tension holds tilt and pan, and a lever rotates the monitor 90° to portrait.

The Tilta Monitor Mount is a monitor holder made for the mounting bar of the Boulder Camera Cart. The monitor gets a V-lock style quick release plate that simply slides into the mount and clicks in — and the mount itself slides onto the cart's mounting bar and locks just as fast. The Boulder cart becomes a focus-pulling station or a small video village where the monitor comes off and goes back on in seconds.

Slides onto the cart's mounting bar

The mount slides onto the mounting bar that joins the top support posts of the Boulder cart and locks there without tools. The monitor stands above the top tray at eye level, visible from the cart and from the camera, and takes nothing from the work surface. On the cart the mount sits exactly where it is meant to: in the Boulder Indie Kit it is part of the package, with the base cart it is bought separately.

V-lock quick release plate with VESA

A V-lock style quick release plate with VESA 100 × 100 and 75 × 75 mm patterns screws to the back of the monitor. The monitor then just slides into the mount from above and the latch secures it; when packing up it unlocks and slides out just as fast. The mount is built for displays up to 25 kg, so it carries a large production monitor or a common computer display with VESA threads.

Tilt tension and 90° rotation

Tilt and pan of the monitor are held by adjustable tension — set it to the weight of the display so the monitor turns by hand but stays put when released. The quick release lever then rotates the whole monitor 90° to portrait: switching between landscape and portrait is one motion, with no screws to loosen. The body of the mount is aluminum alloy in a black finish.

The Tilta Boulder cart

The Boulder Camera Cart is an aluminum camera cart with a 400 kg payload that assembles without tools and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot. The posts are 40mm speed rails, the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards and the trays carry 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads — that is where every accessory of the Boulder family mounts, including this one.
