The cell delivers 2400 mAh, that is 17.28 Wh at a nominal voltage of 7.2 V, and a full charge takes about 2.5 hours. Its dimensions match the original, so it fits the camera without any adapter. The Tilta NP-W235 is a replacement battery for Fujifilm cameras that take the original NP-W235 cell. Its size and shape match the original, so it drops into the battery compartment without play and without adapters. The difference is the USB-C input on the battery itself: it charges from an ordinary cable off a power bank, a laptop or a mains adapter, so there is no charger to pack. The input handles 5 V / 2 A (10 W) and a full charge takes roughly 2.5 hours.

Inside sits a decoding chip that passes battery data to the body. The camera therefore shows the state of charge as a percentage exactly as with the original and raises no unrecognised-battery message. The 2400 mAh capacity is higher than that of the original cell; measured by Tilta to the CIPA standard, the battery delivers 414 stills or 83 minutes of video on a single charge.
