The Tilta TCB-7P-USBC-36 is a power cable from the 7-pin port of the Nucleus-M II motor to a USB-C plug. It passes through the voltage the Nucleus-M II motor receives and powers the Nucleus Nano II motor with it — two motors on one rig then run from a single battery. The same cable connects the Nucleus-M II motor to the Motor port of the Nucleus Auto Focus adapter. Length 36 cm. The cable carries the motor voltage, so it must not be plugged into a camera, monitor or any other USB-C device.

The Tilta TCB-7P-USBC-36 daisy-chains power: the Nucleus-M II motor is powered over P-Tap or a 7-pin cable and has a free second 7-pin port — this cable takes the voltage from there to USB-C, where the Nucleus Nano II motor draws it. That is one battery and one cable to the plate fewer on the rig.

The 7-pin plug (0B) goes into the free port of the Nucleus-M II motor, the USB-C plug at the other end into the USB-C power port of the Nucleus Nano II motor. The Nano II motor then runs from the same battery as the Nucleus-M II motor and needs neither its own source nor a cable to the battery plate. The cable is straight, thin, 36 cm long — enough for two motors side by side on the 15 mm rods in front of the camera, without loops around the lens.

Carries the motor voltage — for the Nano II motor and the Auto Focus adapter only

The cable does not convert voltage: the USB-C end carries what the Nucleus-M II motor receives, up to 24 V depending on the source. A standard USB-C device — camera, monitor, phone — would be destroyed, which is why the cable goes only into the Nucleus Nano II motor. The second intended use is the Nucleus Auto Focus adapter (E to PL): the cable is part of its Adapter Kit and links the Motor port of the adapter to the 7-pin port of the Nucleus-M II motor. Tilta cables

The Tilta TCB cable range links camera, battery and accessories on the rig: power from a V-Mount or Gold Mount plate over P-Tap, 2-pin Lemo, 3-pin Fischer or a DC barrel connector, USB-C PD for monitors and handles, 7-pin control cables for the Nucleus system and HDMI or BNC for the picture.
