The Tilta HDA-T08-RSB2 is the heavy-duty version of the rear seat monitor bracket for a camera car: it hangs from the headrest and a long dovetail-shaped plate braces against the floor, so it stands firm even with a large monitor and controllers. On top it has an articulating 1/4″-20 point for the monitor and an integrated V-Mount battery plate; lower down, an articulating mounting plate for DJI Master Wheels and further 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads. Aluminium alloy, black.

The Tilta Rear Seat Monitor Mounting Bracket Pro is the operator's station on the back seat of a camera car — made for the Hydra Arm Mini crane, but it mounts to the headrest of practically any vehicle. Compared with the basic headrest bracket it carries a large monitor, a wireless receiver and a heavy controller such as the DJI Master Wheels, and powers them from a V-Mount battery right on the bracket.

On the headrest, braced against the floor

The bracket hangs from the headrest posts of the front seat and the long dovetail-shaped plate runs down to the vehicle floor, where it braces as a second point of contact. The pull of the monitor and controllers goes to two places, not just the headrest — the rig does not sway while driving, and the operator on the back seat has picture and controls in front of them without holding anything.

Monitor on top, V-Mount battery within reach

The top carries an articulating 1/4″-20 mounting point that takes most external monitors and tilts to the angle from which the operator can see even against the sun. Right below it is the integrated V-Mount battery plate: one battery powers the monitor and accessories — a wireless video receiver, a controller — and the cables stay on the bracket instead of across the seats.

Articulating plate for DJI Master Wheels

Lower on the body is a heavy-duty articulating mounting plate sized for large controllers such as the DJI Master Wheels; it tilts and locks so the wheels sit in the position the operator is used to. Further 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads across the bracket take articulating arms, mounts and small accessories. All aluminium alloy, in black.

The Tilta Hydra system

Hydra is Tilta's modular system for shooting from moving vehicles: an electronic suction cup that monitors its own vacuum, the shock absorbing arms Hydra Alien and Hydra Alien Mini, speed rail kits for the bodywork and brackets for monitors, cameras and accessories.
