The Tilta Remote Control Handle for Advanced Ring Grip is a wireless remote control handle for the right side of the Advanced Ring Grip and Basic Ring Grip Plus ring grips and of the Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket. Through the included wireless receiver module it controls the DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals: pan and tilt with the joystick, record and photo with buttons, and a DJI or Tilta Nucleus motor with the focus wheel.

The Tilta Remote Control Handle for Advanced Ring Grip (TGA-ARG-RCH) is the wireless remote control handle for Tilta ring grips on DJI RS gimbals — joystick, record, photo and focus without taking your hand off the grip.

The gimbal under your thumb

The remote control handle gives access to the gimbal's settings and to the record and photo functions of the camera. With the joystick under your thumb you control the pan and tilt of the gimbal with a precision the gimbal alone in the hand does not allow, and with the focus wheel you wirelessly control a DJI or Tilta Nucleus lens motor. The Run/Stop function works only through the gimbal, not with Nucleus motors, and the M key only changes the gimbal's Mode — it does not replace other gimbal functions.

On the ring grip and on its own

The handle attaches to the right side of the Advanced Ring Grip and Basic Ring Grip Plus ring grips or to the Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket; three attachment types are included for this (Handle Attachment Type I to III). On the ring grip it is powered by the Ronin battery handle or the battery plate, so it needs no battery of its own. Away from the ring grip it runs on one 18650 battery — insert it with the correct polarity, a reversed battery damages the handle.

With DJI RS 2 to RS 5 gimbals

The handle communicates with the gimbal through the included Wireless Control Receiver Module, which mounts on the DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5. The box also contains an 18650 battery with a single-slot USB charger, so the set is ready to use straight out of the box.

Tilta for DJI RS gimbals

Tilta builds its own system around the DJI RS 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals: the Basic Ring Grip Plus and Advanced Ring Grip ring grips, wireless remote control handles, the Power Supply Base Plate, V-Mount and Gold Mount battery plates, counterweights, the top camera support bracket and security brackets. The parts build on each other and share 1/4"-20 threads and NATO interfaces, so they combine to suit the shoot. This part is one of them.
