The Tilta TA-BSP3-V-B is a V-Mount battery baseplate that connects to a cage via ARCA. The battery feeds two 14.8 V P-Tap ports, a 5 V USB-C port and a 60 W USB-C PD port that matches its voltage to the connected camera or accessory. The plate is height-adjustable for batteries of different sizes, the 15 mm LWS spacing lets it mount on rods too, and the included USB-C cable clamp keeps the power from dropping out. Aluminium alloy and stainless steel, in black.

The Tilta TA-BSP3-V-B gives the cage under the camera a V-Mount battery and a power distribution that, thanks to USB-C PD, does not need a different regulated cable for every device.

Four outputs, USB-C PD sets the voltage itself

From the V-Mount battery come two 14.8 V P-Tap ports for accessories that expect that voltage, a 5 V USB-C port and a 60 W USB-C PD port. The PD port negotiates with the connected camera or accessory the voltage the device needs — so a camera can be powered straight over USB-C without a regulated cable. The included clamp holds the USB-C cable to the plate so the connector cannot be pulled out. The plate is height-adjustable, so it takes V-Mount batteries of different sizes.

ARCA under the cage, or on 15 mm rods

The plate connects to the cage via ARCA: the included ARCA quick release plate receiver takes the ARCA plate of the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Canon R5C and of any body or cage whose ARCA plate fits into it. The receiver follows the DJI ARCA standard and may not fit ARCA plates from other makers. The holder spacing matches 15 mm LWS — the battery part comes off the plate and mounts on rods, and two 15 × 80 mm rods are included.

Tiltaing handles and plates

The Tiltaing range builds the rig around the cage from parts that fit together: side handles with a REC button powered by a Sony F570/F970 battery or USB-C PD, wooden and quick-release top handles, handle adapters to an ARRI rosette, 15 mm LWS baseplates with a Manfrotto or ARCA plate and battery plates with P-Tap and USB-C outputs. They share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with ARRI locating pins, NATO rails and ARRI rosettes. This part is one of them.
