The Tilta BT03 tabletop tripod pairs a ball head with two-section carbon fibre legs. It carries a rig of up to 3 kg, extends to 555 mm and folds down to just 258 mm, so it travels in the same bag as the camera. The head has a 360° panoramic base, a notch for vertical shooting and a standard Arca quick release plate. Three leg angles bring the camera right down to the ground. Black finish.

The BT03 is a tripod for the backpack, not the studio: folded it measures 258 mm and it turns into a solid support for a camera, a phone or a small cine body wherever a full-size tripod would make no sense.

3 kg payload and vertical shooting

The ball head carries a rig of up to 3 kg. A notch in the side wall lets you tip the camera 90° into the vertical position, so switching between landscape, portrait and overhead takes a few seconds. Tilt range is +90° to −60° and the Arca quick release plate fits most cages and cameras with a 1/4"-20 thread.

360° panoramic base

The lower base rotates a full 360° and carries a scale around its rim, so a panorama can be shot in even increments and the frames overlap consistently. The centre-column-free design keeps the centre of gravity low — the tripod is steadier and easier to work with in tight spaces and near the ground.

CNC machining

The head and the leg collars are CNC machined from aluminium alloy, the legs are filament wound carbon fibre. The twist lock releases and secures a leg in one movement, so the height can be trimmed one-handed. Tube diameter is 13 to 16 mm and the legs extend by up to 348 mm.

Three leg angles

The legs set into three positions — 25°, 55° and 82°. At the widest setting the tripod drops close to the surface for ground-level shots; at the narrowest it becomes a slim support that fits between the props on a table. The angle is changed by a catch at the hinge, no tools needed.
