The Tilta Top Camera Support Bracket for DJI Ronin is a top camera support bracket for the DJI RS 2, RS 3 and RS 3 Pro gimbals. It runs from the base of the gimbal's height adjustment arm to the top of the camera, where it attaches via the cold shoe, adding a second point of contact between the gimbal and the camera body. The setup is more stable, the motors perform better at speed and the camera is secured additionally — as on the Hydra Alien car mount.

The Tilta Top Camera Support Bracket for DJI Ronin (TGA-TSB) is the top camera support bracket for DJI RS 2, RS 3 and RS 3 Pro — a second point of contact between gimbal and camera, so the setup holds together even on a fast drive.

Second point of contact between gimbal and camera

The top camera support bracket attaches to the base of the height adjustment arm of the DJI RS 2, RS 3 or RS 3 Pro gimbal and runs from there to the top of the camera, where it is fixed via the cold shoe. The camera therefore does not sit on the gimbal on the bottom plate alone but is held from above too. The setup is more stable, the footage smoother and the gimbal motors have less work holding the camera at higher speeds.

For Hydra Alien and fast shots

This type of support bracket is especially helpful in a system like the Tilta Hydra Alien car mount, where the gimbal takes shocks and g-forces: the additional point of contact helps stabilise the gimbal at higher speeds while providing additional security for the camera.
