The Tilta Universal Cooling System Power Kit pairs the universal thermoelectric cooler with the magnetic 3000 mAh power supply — you cool a Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm or Panasonic Lumix mirrorless camera without a single cable. The cooler brings the contact surface down to 0 °C, has three modes (quiet, ice-cool, Auto), a TFT colour display and mounts with a single press; it can also be powered over USB-C.

The Tilta Universal Cooling System Power Kit (TA-UCSK-B) is the complete set: the TA-UCS-B thermoelectric cooler and the TA-UCSP-B magnetic power supply with a 3000 mAh battery. The setup on the camera is cable-free and ready for long recordings, livestreams and all-day shoots.

Cooler and power supply in one kit

The Power Kit contains the TA-UCS-B cooler and the TA-UCSP-B power supply. The module attaches magnetically to the back of the cooler and powers it from its built-in 3000 mAh battery, so the setup on the camera has no cable at all. When longer runtime is needed, the cooler is powered by cable over USB-C from a PD source or a V-mount battery and the module stays in reserve.

Thermoelectric cooling down to 0 °C

The cooler is built around a thermoelectric plate: the plate pulls heat away from the camera body, aluminium heatsink fins pass it to a near-silent fan, and thermally conductive silicone gives full-surface contact with the camera. In Level 2 the contact surface drops to 0 °C, so the camera neither throttles nor stops recording during long, high-resolution sessions.

Three cooling modes

Level 1 (Quiet Mode) cools to roughly 5 °C with fan noise of 30 dB and below — suitable for recording audio on set. Level 2 (Ice-Cool Mode) gives full power down to 0 °C. Auto Mode adjusts the cooling intensity by itself and holds a stable 20 °C ± 3 °C, so you do not have to go back to the settings.

Power: magnetic module or USB-C

The power supply for the Universal Cooling System attaches to the cooler magnetically, and the setup stays compact and cable-free. For wired power there is the USB-C port — from a PD source, a power bank or a V-mount battery, which comes in handy for livestreams, interviews or all-day shoots.

Things to keep in mind

In Level 1 the fan may be picked up by the camera's built-in microphone because of the close proximity; recording with an external microphone is not affected.
