The Tilta TA-T70-A-S kit dresses the Fujifilm X100VI in aluminium and walnut without taking away its looks. The core is an L-bracket with a wooden handgrip that improves the hold and leaves the battery and the card free. With it come a hot shoe thumb grip, two leather strap buckles and a small accessory kit. Underneath is a mounting point for a tripod or gimbal quick-release plate. Supplied in a metal gift box, silver version.

Aluminium and walnut that do not turn the X100VI into a different camera — only into a better-held one.

Walnut and aluminium

The L-bracket is machined from aluminium and finished with a walnut handgrip. Wood warms up in the hand and does not slip the way bare metal does, so the camera sits more securely even after hours of walking. The bracket also lifts the body enough that fingers do not end up pressed against the bottom edge, and the battery door and card slot stay accessible.

A leather buckle instead of a metal ring

The native strap lug on the X100VI is small and the metal ring of a strap wears against it. The included leather buckles slip between strap and body, so the metal never touches the camera. Two are supplied, one for each side.

Hot shoe thumb grip

The thumb grip slides into the hot shoe and gives the thumb a firm point of support on the back of the camera. The camera is then held between three fingers and the thumb instead of being clamped in a fist, which tells at slower shutter speeds and when focusing one-handed. The hot shoe is free again once the thumb grip is removed.

A tripod mounting point underneath

Underneath the L-bracket is a mounting point for a tripod or gimbal quick-release plate — it screws on directly, with no further adapter. The quick-release plate is not part of this kit; if you want an ARCA mount in the box, the Travel Kit is the one to pick.

Compatibility and packaging

The kit is designed for the Fujifilm X100VI body. The camera is not included.

A quick-release plate for a tripod or gimbal is not part of the kit.
