The Tiltaing Mini Table Top Tripod is an aluminium tabletop tripod that doubles as a grip. The legs are spring loaded: released, they snap open by themselves; folded, a locking washer holds them so they stay closed in the bag. On top sits a single 1/4"-20 screw that fastens the tripod under a camera, a cage or a gimbal. Opened out it measures 254 × 223 × 75 mm and weighs 200 g.

The Tiltaing Mini Table Top Tripod is grip and stand in one. Handheld it works like a Super 8 style handle, and when the camera has to go down, one press opens three legs and the rig stands on its own.

Spring-loaded legs

Release the catch and all three legs open at once — nothing has to be unfolded one at a time. They close again under pressure and are held by the knurled washer under the head, so they stay shut in the bag.

A single 1/4"-20 thread

On top sits a universal 1/4"-20 screw. It fits under a camera body, a cage or a gimbal and needs neither a reducer nor an adapter.

Wide stance, low centre of gravity

Opened out the tripod spans 254 mm across the legs and stands only 75 mm high. The rig therefore sits low and steady even on an uneven table or on a car bonnet.

It will not sag under its own weight

The spring mechanism keeps the legs spread even when the tripod is screwed to a battery plate from below and hangs upside down. An ordinary tabletop tripod slowly folds in that position; this one does not.
