Approx. 336 g

A lightweight lens with a 52 mm filter thread.

Fast F1.2 aperture

The F1.2 aperture lets plenty of light reach the sensor and helps in dimmer conditions too. Wide open, it gives a shallow depth of field that separates the subject from the blurred background.

Aperture F1.2 to F16 and 10 blades

The aperture is set with a ring from F1.2 to F16 and is formed by 10 blades. Focusing is manual with a distance scale in metres and feet, and the minimum focus distance is 0.5 m.

Optics with 7 elements in 5 groups

The optical design of 7 elements in 5 groups is made for APS-C, where the lens gives a 32° angle of view. The 50 mm focal length suits portraits, details and street photography.

Approx. 336 g and 52 mm filter

The lens weighs approx. 336 g, so it hardly weighs the camera down. The 52 mm front filter thread takes common screw-in filters such as UV, polarizing or variable ND filters.
