The Ulanzi MT88 ClipMate Tripod is a compact, lightweight tripod for action cameras, featuring a 360° ball head and hook-and-loop strap for easy attachment to backpacks or other surfaces. Foldable to just 5.9", it doubles as a mini tripod or selfie stick, offering portability and flexible shooting angles.
A mini tripod, selfie stick and backpack clip
The Ulanzi MT88 ClipMate is a lightweight action camera tripod with a 360° ball head. A hook-and-loop strap attaches it to a backpack or strap, and folded it is only 15 cm long.
Three uses in one body
Stand it on a table, hold it as a selfie stick, or strap it to a backpack strap in seconds with the hook-and-loop strap. It weighs just 100 g.
Travel
Folded, it is only 15 cm long.
Vlogging
Camera in hand or on your backpack.
Tabletop shots
Steady three legs, up to 24.5 cm tall.
Sport
The strap fastens to a strap in moments.
A clip for your backpack strap
The hook-and-loop strap wraps around a backpack strap or another surface, and the tripod holds the camera in front of you. You film hands-free with the camera always within reach.
Tripod mode
The spread legs stand the camera on a table, a bench or the ground. The tripod height ranges from 12.5 to 24.5 cm.
Selfie stick mode
Extended, the tripod works as a handheld selfie stick for vlogs and handheld footage. The photo illustrates use with a phone in a holder, which is not included.
360° ball head
The ball head with a 1/4"-20 screw gives smooth adjustment between landscape and portrait. The mount is screw-on, with no quick release.
15 cm folded
Folded, the tripod measures 15 cm and weighs only 100 g, so it fits in a trouser pocket or a bag.
A hook-and-loop strap
A hook-and-loop strap is included for mounting on backpacks, straps or other surfaces. It turns the tripod into a mountable rig.
For compact cameras
The 0.5 kg load capacity is enough for compact action cameras and light mirrorless bodies with a small lens.
Main features at a glance
POV shooting, easy to carry, 3-in-1 versatility, 360° adjustment, 1/4" mount and a hook-and-loop strap.
