15 elements engineered for high resolution

The 15-element, 11-group optical design uses 1 ultra-precision UA aspherical, 3 ED and 8 HR elements. Blue marks low-dispersion glass, turquoise high-refractive glass and yellow the UA element. The chart on the right shows contrast transfer at f/1.4 and f/8.

Direct control for stills and video

A custom Fn button, AF/MF switch and click/de-click aperture control keep key settings outside the menu. Internal focusing preserves the lens length.
