The Viltrox AF 85 mm F2.0 EVO FE is a lightweight full-frame portrait lens for Sony E-mount cameras. It offers a natural perspective, an F2 aperture, fast and quiet STM autofocus, and convenient controls in a compact body weighing just 340 g.
Portrait in Natural Perspective
An 85 mm focal length separates the subject from the background, preserves flattering proportions, and lets the subject’s expression shine through. The f/2 aperture adds a soft bokeh and allows you to work even in softer light.
Made for Faces
The combination of a moderate telephoto lens and a large aperture draws attention to the eyes and facial expressions. The nine-blade aperture creates soft bokeh and smooth transitions outside the plane of focus.

Sharp detail, soft background
The optical system, consisting of 10 elements in 8 groups, incorporates two ED and two HR elements. It suppresses chromatic aberrations and maintains image quality from the center to the edges, while the background remains clean and soft.
Quiet and precise STM autofocus
Internal focusing with a stepper motor and lead screw responds quickly and quietly. It supports the camera’s eye and face detection, so you can focus on composing your photos and videos.
Closer to the Detail
A minimum focusing distance of 0.74 m and a maximum magnification of 0.13× expand its range of use from classic portraits to close-ups of details, food, and objects.
Control Without Searching Through Menus
On the lens barrel, you’ll find an AF/MF switch, an Fn function button, and an aperture ring with a choice of step or continuous operation. The USB-C port is used for firmware updates.
