The Weeylite Ninja 400 Mark II is a powerful BI-color LED studio light with 13 effect modes in the 2800k-6800K range. The studio light is equipped with new COB* LED chip technology with high CRI. This technology achieves perfect lighting effect, accurate color temperature and high performance. The light is ideal for photography, video, studio, exhibition, make up or other use. Wherever, high light output is needed.

The successor to the popular Viltrox Weeylite Ninja 400 studio light brings new lighting effects and a silent mode (with 0-50% intensity range limiting).The 150W dual-color Weeylite Ninja 400 II studio spotlight uses COB LED technology for high light output, long life and good color rendering (≥95 RA).

The upgraded light , NINJA 400 II, has a brightness of up to 112750 lumens,

What are COB (Chip-On-Board) LEDs?

COB technology refers to mounting a bare LED chip in direct contact with a substrate (such as silicon carbide or sapphire) to produce LED arrays. COB LEDs have several advantages over older LED technologies such as surface mount diodes ("SMDs") or double-in-line package ("DIP") LEDs. The main advantage is that, it allows a much higher luminous flux density. For example, using COB LED technology on a 10 x 10 mm square array yields 38 times more LEDs compared to DIP LED technology and 8.5 times more LEDs compared to SMD LED technology. The result is higher intensity and greater light uniformity. Alternatively, by using COB LED technology, the area and power consumption of the LED array can be significantly reduced while maintaining a constant light output. For example, a 500 lumen COB LED array can be many times smaller and consume significantly less power than a 500 lumen SMD or DIP LED array.
